I liked Dare and Noah, mostly and I liked this book but I thought the tension and back and forth went on a bit too long. And I’m not a fan of them exchanging witty banter when Dare was so hurt and pissed. I would have liked this more if they had talked about their past at the beginning when they first ran into each other on the ship. I didn’t like the hot/cold. One minute they’re kissing, the next minute avoiding each other. Dare's emotions are a bit heartbreaking but they aren't dealt with until really late in the book
When they finally got past the BS, they were pretty great together. And I loved the scene in Dare’s apartment and him finally telling Noah how he felt.
And the scene in Dare’s teenage room SLAYED me.
The next book is going to be about Hudson and Teague which could be another book like this of the back and forth, cold/hot mess…
