There is so much reflection on the human condition threaded togeather with such beautiful writing. Parts of this story made me laugh and cry and I truly came to love at least some of the characters. Lee was probably my favorite character in the story. The ending broke my heart but also left a thread of hope which does seem very true to life for me.
