Queens of Themiscyra by Hannah Lynn

4.0

A little disappointed in the representation of the queen Hippolyte. The basis of this entire book seems like a massive Stockholm syndrome go the face & made this demigoddess, this badass, unstoppable warrior … into someone whose character is so weak.

This women has banged the Garganeans who are the manliest of manly men but Theseus’s dick was so mind blowing it was worth leaving her throne and people?? I’m not buying it. And then of course when shit comes to bite her in the ass all of a sudden it’s like “wait.. he isn’t actually a nice guy?” I’m confused”. Like c’mon. It wasn’t surprising in the least but my heart did hurt when Hippolyte had to leave her son.

Great book though
