Sapphire Blue
by Kerstin Gier
Now that Gwen is familiar with the time travelling and all the consequences it brings, she must learn about history and waltz and courtesy to impress the Count and not make a fool of herself in a soiree in the past. Here we see more of Gwen and Gideon’s partnership and the chemistry they have. But can she trust her feelings? I really liked how Gwen had to learn a lot just to spend two evenings in the past and how she did really well there, contrary to everyone’s expectations. Gwen is really determined to prove everyone she is capable to travel to past, do what she has to do and not cause any problems to the future. The best part of this book is that we are introducing to the best character, Xemerius, the ghost of a little demon. He’s so sarcastic and funny that he reminds me of a cat. Really love him and how funny he is. He turned to be of great help to Gwen, since only she can see him.
