Passage to Dawn by R.A. Salvatore

4.0

This four part trilogy was everything I was hoping for. It met my expectations exactly and did not dissapoint. It has great moments of joy and misfortune and you really feel for the characters.

I was never the greatest fan of Wulfgar but did not realise how much I had missed the barbarian till his return. It did confuse me greatly and has me wondering if indeed Salvatore managed to hint at the prisoner being either Zaknafein or Wulfgar. The line "Goven to Lolth and by Lolth given" sits as a sore note as Wulfgar was the cause of his own demise as far as previous books would have us believe.
