Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

5.0

After a couple of failed attempts at getting into Shadow and Bone, I think I regained myself to the idea that the Grisha-verse “just wasn’t for me”. How glad am I that I gave Six of Crows a shot regardless?

For me, this was a perfect fantasy read. A compelling plot, interesting characters, great hints of romance, magic…I have thought for a couple of days before writing a review to see if there’s anything I could class as a negative, and my conclusion if, for me, there isn’t one. There wasn’t a single perspective characters chapter I wanted to skip through, everyone’s voice was one I wanted to hear.

Never before have I been so disinterested in one series and so invested in another by the same author. Excited to read more from Leigh Bardugo in the future.
