This is the second book I have read from Stephen King, and I love this book much more. The writing style is unique, combining news excerpts and narration. However, I think that is also its pitfall, causing the story to flow less smoothly.

The book talks about several topics such as puberty, friendship, growth and abuse. It explains these topics in excellent way.

To be honest I think the 1976 adaption of the book encapsulates the story quite well. The film complements the book in fleshing the whole story.
