While better than your average Lifetime movie-style thriller, this still lacked the grittiness I normally enjoy in this genre. I did enjoy the "Now" and "Then" format, but the reveals just didn't keep me up at night. Still, an interesting story coupled with talented writing made this a quick, enjoyable read.
