I wouldn't know the book The Last Flight if I hadn't read it with my friends, it has an interesting premise to it. Escaped from your husband? Move to another city? Meet a stranger and change identities? And, you discover that the girl has been killed in a plane crash. All your scenarios fall apart. Sounds good, right?
(Blurb) In The Last Flight, Claire longs to escape her abusive marriage to a powerful man. A chance encounter at the airport with Eva, a mysterious woman also on the run, leads them to swap their airplane tickets. Claire heads to Eva's home in California, hoping this is the chance she needs for a fresh start.
But, it is bad in terms of execution. The beginning was great. It was well prepared. Especially the moment when they changed the identity, and the scenario from Claire became messy. That's for that. After that, I think the development character of Claire didn't well affect the plot so much. This girl wanted to escape, but the preparation was bad. Why did she only focus on watching her husband on the docs? She had to become a person who led it, but he didn't do anything. So, that's why, rather than escape, you should talk to your husband and divorce (Huhft, I am thinking twice again, I think maybe she's too scared). the plot is about claire current time and also every time before the place crashes. Some eva's past life is too slow, and too many things explain that it is not really needed. But, some parts become rational and good there. Eva is not lucky. she's just not lucky for anything. I feel sad about her. The twists are not impressed so much. And, where's none of the moment when Claire has a talks again with her husband? at least finished some parts.
For the book that read for fun, maybe this one is still good. Then, a whole story is still entertaining and page-turning!
