What a heartbreaking and beautifully told story. The writing is exactly right for this sort of strange story about a young girl, Jam, who suddenly finds herself in front of a strange creature that claims to be there to hunt a monster. Monsters are claimed to no longer be a part of society by all the adults so, how will Jam be able to face this new reality?
