A Powerful Story of the American West
Almost everything you might want to know about the west--its cowboys, its desperadoes, its lawmen, its ranchers, its farmers, its small towns--they are brought to life in this strong portrayal of the beginnings of the Kearneys. From John Kearney, who dreamed of a ranch in Texas near the Mexican border, to Matthew Kearney who will one day own and run the Double K. McGarrity has done a tremendous amount of research and their story is beautifully written. I'm so glad there are three.
