When the Moon Hatched by Sarah A. Parker

4.0

I wasn’t sure how to rate this book! Am I completely satisfied? No. But is that because this is the first book in a series and none of the subsequent books are out yet?? Most definitely yes. There are so many questions and almost no solid answers, which is frustrating when I can’t jump right into the next book.

This book is beautifully written, poetic at times. The overall story concept is really great, even if the unveiling of information is painfully slow. The love story could turn out to be one of the greats.

The character banter got better towards the middle/end. I wish we would have gotten more “found family” content—though I suspect that will come in future books.

Overall, I will definitely continue reading this series. Really excited to see where the story goes!
