One Small Thing
by Erin Watt
Thanks to the authors for an arc!!
I just devoured this book in less than 24hours! Erin Watt writes such real characters that I cannot get enough of. Beth's life completely changes when her sister dies. Her parents keep her safe in the only way they know how - by keeping her on lock down and monitoring her every move. She responds by sneaking out to a party and meets Chase. Little does she know that he is the person she should hate the most.
What follows is a wild ride of forbidden romance, atonement and forgiveness. Beth's knee jerk responses to her parents overprotective actions are spot on and I definitely connected with her, having done my fair share of rebellion in high school. I loved it and could not put it down until I finished the last page!
