am i wrong to have enjoyed a book where basically nothing happened … probably but the vibes were so fun!!!
okay yes this book absolutely could have been a few chapters at the end of these infinite threads/the book that will follow. i also thought this series was going to be a trilogy for some reason - it’s not.
BUT this book did add a lot of complexity to our main cast of characters and you can tell this is setting up for some big things in the following book. cyrus has now grown on me, his identity is characterised in a way that is much more fleshed out and adds complexity to him.
do i think karman has had a 180 change in character, yes. i’m not sure how to feel about that, especially since i loved him in book 1 and now think he’s shaping out to be a very manipulative and controlling character which im not a fan of and is very much giving adam/aaron situation from shatter me
but at the end of the day this was fun and im excited to see where the story will go in the following book
