I've come to the conclusion that I hate public romantic gestures. I was cringing so hard at the fake fire call-out. I would vomit on the spot if my partner tried to do something like that for me EMBARRASSING. I enjoyed the start of this but hated the direction it went in and didn't like how the twist at the end was given away in the blurb... Like the idea behind this and the start but wish it had gone a different route.
