I thought the concept was good but it happened way too quickly. I couldn’t connect to the characters because every time I was starting to, the story shifted to another character or jumped to the next month. It was rather jarring and I felt like I missed out on some real character development. I think this story could have been way better if it had been a series with 4 separate books, one for each year. But overall it was a nice book and I’m glad I read it.
