Curious Minds by Janet Evanovich, Phoef Sutton

This was entertaining. I was a bit worried that the characters would be overdone, but Emerson's eccentricities (aside from all the exotic animals) actually seemed mostly plausible. The action was good and kept me turning pages. There wasn't as much of a love story but it wasn't totally absent either. Moon is a professional that just started working for a large financial firm and is assigned to meet with one of the most eccentric clients (Emerson Knight) in her first week. She ends up running from dangerous people while searching for the truth about the world's gold supply. It offered a nice tongue in cheek look at conspiracy theorists as well. I will definitely check out the next in this series.
