Carrie by Stephen King

5.0

I haven't read many horror stories but this one certainly gave me goosebumps. Carrie is a girl you definitely feel sorry for because the tormenting she experiences is very cruel. To top it off her mother is a crazy religious woman who bashes Carrie, locks her in a closet and makes her dress and act in ways that force her to feel even more isolated. The story is set out by telling you what happens at the end, but not how or why which leaves you reading in suspense wondering how it is all going to happen. I felt empathy for all the characters except carries mother and that brat girl and her boyfriend who I can't remmeber the name of. Recommend!
