I like the options of graphic memoirs (March, Persepolis, etc.) for my students. I think it makes the nonfiction accessible but also layered. There are so many ways to discuss color, depth, expressions, etc. This memoir focuses on some tough questions about addiction and family relationships.

*Side note: I actually read it last week and forgot to update my GoodReads status.
