This was a nice story, but I think it could have been better without so much added. I mean, we have an MC who is not only an athlete but who had an accident and was dissabled, although that did not stop him but he continued to be an athlete within his possibilities, to that we add that as a result of a hook up he had a daughter which he adopted so now he is a single parent, he plays a sport and aldo goes to college, and oh, just after the accident he lost the love of his life, although he doesn't know why said love left without saying anything just when he was in the hospital after his accident. Although later that becomes clear. Now, at the same time as all this, a few years pass and he sets out to recover his beloved. But another thing I don't understand is when in the past they had a relationship, because from what we read they were just best friends and Joel hooked up with one of their best female friends (something just physical to Joel but hey, they were f*ck buddies), behind Clay's back (although he and Clay at that time were just friends, I think? ) and Joel also had sex once with their other friend because she practically forced him and he felt sorry for her, also behind Clay's back. I mean, he had sex with everyone except Clay. And meanwhile we have Clay who was hurting... And now added to all that drama, in the present we also have other villains who want to ruin them. And well... That's kind of the story. I think if the author had made it simpler it would have been better. And clearer about what the relationship between them was like. The plot is interesting, but I would have liked it to focus more on one thing. For example: Was it necessary for him to be disabled? Well, it's an interesting topic and one rarely seen in books, so I'd leave it to that, but then, was it necessary for him to also have a daughter? And so the author keeps adding to it, and all that added together, it takes a lot away from the two MCs...

Well if you read this and think is a bit confused, that is how is felt when you read the story...

I was given an advanced copy and voluntarily wrote a review.
