Belladonna by Adalyn Grace
Did not finish book. Stopped at 59%.
I just can't push myself through this book anymore. The beginning few chapters were interesting but then it just collapsed for me and I've been trying to push through for weeks now.
Death is so interesting but he's been barely in the book. The main character just feels so naive and annoys me. Also I now see where this mystery is going and I do not like it which is why I decided to stop.
I have no clue if this is right but first time she mentioned the poisoning I was so annoyed that she said it with Percy there. You do not know these people you should trust no one. For someone who has lived through horrible guardians you would think she would get that.
She started giving Blythe advice to not drink or eat and she's still getting sicker. It's so obvious it's Percy behind it. Like c'mon.. only person who could since he knows. Blythe prob trusts him if he's offering her somethinf and so slipping her the poison somehow.
This story is making me tired. I really tried. Just that last 40% enough is enough.
It's so sad cause I actually have a weird fascination with poisonous plants so a book called Belladonna should be right up my ally. Even the premise is but if you cut out 40% of what I have read so far you would not miss it for the storyline.
