this had the potential to be really good but it just fell so flat. constantly going back to that day talking about the process of trying to find Elle is not interesting at all. there is no POV of the thought process of the person who did it aside from a few chapters here and there which were very short. it was just….. boring. no POV’s from Elle either to see what would be happening from her side. every chapter just seemed to be talking about how Jo has had it hard and her sisters husband Theo complaining about her. it was easy to guess who was involved and the ending and what actually happened was just….. boring. huge let down, i got to around 100 pages of reading the same stuff over and over.
