This book was like a love letter to romance readers everywhere.  I don't know about you, but I can't resist a good grumpy-sunshine romance where the Hero fights it so hard and then he falls even harder.  It makes my romance-loving heart kick, scream, and squeal with glee.  Ms. Score does a beautiful job of blending fun, quirky characters and humorous storylines with deep, emotional, heartfelt feelings.  She makes you root for the members of this fictional town, not just the FMC and the MMC, but all of the secondary characters that make up the town of Story Lake. What really solidified this book as a winner for me was the grand gesture at the end - not only was it swoon-worthy, but how everyone was included... well, I'll leave it at that and let you read it for yourself. 🤣
