Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy

2.0

Ugh. Finally I'm done. Waaaay too much detail and repetition! Why did it take 50 pages to explain a lady giving birth?! (Well, that's a guess...I have no idea how long she was actually giving birth but it seemed like forever.)

I thought the book was interesting and the edition I had included a TON of footnotes explaining current Russian events of the time which gave context to a lot of the character's discussions. The initial story line between Anna and Vronsky started out exciting as to what was going to happen and then it just went so badly :(

Overall, I thought it was just ok and at least I can say I read it.
