I have so many more questions than I have answers. This book has had a decent amount of hype. Sadly, I was just “whelmed”. Very little clue what the actual plot of this book is or where it’s going.

I would have probably DNF’d this early on except for the fact that I’ve heard the next couple books are fire. The end was mildly interesting. I’m not positive who the love interest is. Seems like it might be Rhordyn. But am I the only one getting grooming vibes? I don’t really care that there’s an age gap. In fantasy we see hundreds of years separating love interests sometimes. But it’s a bit different when they raise them from childhood.

Either way, I’ll probably read the second if for no other reason than for find out why Laith went into heat in the middle of the book.
