Excuse me while I take a moment to register what I just read. This book was everything! I mean I knew it was good but I didn't know it would be THIS good!
The whole world Tomi Adeyemi created was beautiful. It was unique. Adeyemi's writing is descriptive and flowy, making the book addictive and easy to read.
If you're like me and sometimes find it difficult to get book-addicted like everyone else, then you'll definitely enjoy this. Trust me this book will grab you and there won't be no putting down!
The main character Zélie is strong and independent. Once she's made up her mind, there's no changing it. She's an inspirational character, showing readers that you should never give up no matter how impossible things may seem, you got this!
I fell in love with these characters and I fell in love with their stories. I'm so ready for Book 2 especially after that ending! I mean I could see it coming, but I also couldn't see it coming (does that even make sense!?).
I definitely recommend this book! You won't regret it!!
