The Wrong Game
by Kandi Steiner
I loved this book so much! Kandi is definitely an auto buy author for me. I knew I was going to love this book, by just hearing the premise. I am a HUGE football fan, so this was right up my alley lol.
I loved that when Gemma was betrayed, she didn't just lay down and deal with it, she decided to hatch a plan to meet a new guy. She has season tickets to the Bears and plans on going with a new guy every game. I have to say this is a genius plan and plot. I love that Zach, the bartender, overhears and takes it upon himself to be like I'll let you test this out on me. While this might seem to be annoying, I advisor really liked his tenacity and of course he's charming lol. I love that Zach was determined to show her that he was the only guy she should be taking to this games. I loved their relationship. I also really enjoyed the football atmosphere, I could see it all in my head as if I were there.
As someone who has been hurt before, the procure definitely hit me, but I enjoyed seeing two people who had been hurt learning to trust and love again.
If you want a fun contemporary full of football and romance, The Wrong Game is the book for you. Gemma's character was so relatable and Zach is so swoonworthy (and I don't use that term lightly lol) Kandi absolutely knows how to write a good romance and an amazing football romance. Pick this up, you will not regret it!
