The Ghost Mountain Boys: Their Epic March and the Terrifying Battle for New Guinea--The Forgotten War of the South Pacific by James Campbell

4.0

A very informative read on Papua New Guinea during World War 2. At times, it is a bit difficult to follow which companies or battalions are being mentioned due to the usage of several nicknames for the same service member. However, the book is very well written and immerses the reader in a way many historical accounts do not.
