Saving CeeCee Honeycutt by Beth Hoffman

this book was sickenly sweet. it was a cute story and it was fun to read but i am not the person for super sappy. ceecee is a sweet little girl who seems like she has a lot to learn about life but that is what the book is about and its tells it well. now i live in the south but i like to believe that texas south is completely different from georgia, alabama, mississippi, etc. type south and after reading this, i feel that my belief is reaffirmed. all the ladies that you met in the book are super lovey dovey typical southern belle pageant beauty queen title winners. just way too much fluff for me but that's the style of how the book was supposed to be! overall, the book is good and i recommend that people read it as its about a 12 year old white girl who just lost her mother then moves down to georgia to live with somebody she has never met in her life all while learning new customs and seeing racism for the first time against people. that 12 year old mindset id say to captured well.
