This is the third time technically I have read this book, the first when I was 14. I listened to it again for personal (therapeutic) reasons. It is an extremely 80's romance, meaning it is desperate and trite and all the tropes that make the 'bodice-ripper' type books almost unbearable now, but I knew that going in. The time traveling aspects of this book were pretty silly, but fun... it's like a cheesy romance version of Connie Willis' Doomsday Book, in some ways, and for that I like it more.
