The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms by N.K. Jemisin

5.0

A young woman Yeine is thrust into life with her royal family after her mother dies. She struggles to survive in a politically cut throat and callous family, in the midst of Gods whom the Arameri (her family) can control.

I couldn't put this book down & read in 2 days. Imaginative and evocative which is different for a fantasy genre.
