Love on the Brain by Ali Hazelwood

2.0

I highly disliked this book and I’m super sad about because I was so excited for her next book. I loved the Love hypothesis but this one just fell flat. Bee was a annoying main character and her and I are the same age but she acted like a baby then acted like she was in her 40s?? Like girl your 28 chill. Her reference to coworker as a “Gen z” and Maybe she just hates me because she’s “Gen Z” and oh wow not surprised she doesn’t pick up the phone cause she’s “Gen Z” like ??? That’s super ducking cringe I just wanted her to stop cause it made no sense like we all have our phones on do not disturb. Idk how old the author is but like Bee’s character is just someone who is just out of touch. Like girl who know how to navigate twitter but not TikTok? Seriously stop I can barely manage twitter lol. Her always saying Levi hated her without letting him explain himself was annoying and not funny at all to the point I had to started to listen at 2.0 speed cause I just wanted to get through this book. The romance parts weren’t so bad and I liked them but Levi is also a character who didn’t have to much depth but his green eyes being mentioned over and over again. The part that excited me the most was the cat being adopted at the end lol and someone hacking her twitter. The part where guy pulls out the gun made me laugh like it just didn’t seem real I just laughed and was like I just need to finish this book. Overall the more I talked about this book the madder I get. It just made me so mad because I heard the rumors behind this her just putting in every trope and it’s truth. The only characters I really liked were her friend who apologized and the cat
