I liked parts of this. The scary parts were good but not as scary I was expecting based off the reviews.
It just felt like the author read a lot of stephen king. I like king but if I want to read a stephen king-vibe novel then I'll pick up Gerald's Game or something. It felt a little too drawn out for my taste (something King is also bad for).

The meteor felt unnecessary and the Dad's own toy thing too much. That's all I'll say.
