Take Me Back by Meghan March

5.0

Kat Cross is a woman who seems to be losing herself to the rush of everyday life. Chapter one grabbed my attention right away. Is this how married couples are nowadays? Our lives have gotten so hectic that we seem to pass each other by. Dan Cross is not happy with his life right now. Their story starts you off feeling sorry for a couple where work becomes the third person in the relationship. The author even goes one step further by adding in a little suspense to spice things up

A secondary character that I fell in love with was Benjie. I found myself wanting to know more about him and looking forward to the scenes where he had some words of wisdom for Kat. He’s a man of reason but sometimes the heart just doesn’t listen. He’s a friend that I wished that I had or at least hope to meet.

Our author had me thinking about my vacation trip to Jamaica. I’ve always wanted to go back or maybe experience something new this time. I’ve always wanted to be a world traveler and this book brought the “bug” out again. But one thing is for certain; I plan to take this book along with me wherever I go.

If you love books with a second chance romance then you may just enjoy Kat and Dan’s story. It’s a story of hope. The story goes back and forth between the present and the past. The author lets you know when there is a switch so there’s no confusion. It works here because the past shows how it affected the future. This is a ride that you never want to end but you know it has to. But when the end does come you will have a smile on your face.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
