3.5

A solid 3.5 from me! I’d definitely say it’s more spice and character driven than plot driven, but there is a plot happening almost in the background.

Rachel gets her dream job as physio for a newly established ice hockey team. Growing up, she’s always been the wild child and has never committed to anyone. On her first day, her one night stand from a few months ago appears right in front of her; Jake, one of the players.

They try to ignore their chemistry (and fail miserably). Meanwhile, Rachel can no longer deny her attraction to equipment manager Caleb. Or later, to goal keeper Mars. I loved that Caleb and Jake are also in love, and it’s not just M/F action.

What follows is a really positive take on polyamory. I think the author writes this really well, and I loved the HEA. I definitely want to read the next book in the series!
