Impulse by Steven Gould

3.0

Another good book in the Jumper series, though not as intense as the previous two. This centers on the main character Davy's daughter Cent. This is about her learning to jump and trying to enjoy the life of a normal teenage girl. She had spent her life living in a cabin in the Yukon to avoid the people who experimented on Davy in the last book. There is a lot of buildup in this story, which is something that Gould excels at, as well as character development. The main plot involves Davy seeking out information about the people that abducted him in Reflex, and also about Cent's school life and investigating a drug and blackmail problem at school. It all comes together at the end. It's a good story, but the previous books I was into much more. Worth reading still.
