Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher

5.0

A friend of mine told me when she started reading this book she couldn't put it down, I was the same way. The book is the story of a teenage girl that commits suicide and leaves behind 13 tapes that explain her reasons why. They get sent from person to person that had a hand in her reasons. It was hard to read, as a teacher knowing that this could be going on with any of my students. It is very well written and worth the foray into teen literature.
