I had originally heard of the book and author via Gordon White's podcast, Rune Soup. It took me a while to get around to reading Jailbreaking the Goddess, but I'm really glad I did. The author covers a great deal of issues facing feminism as well as envisioning a less patriarchal form of the Goddess. I really think that Jailbreaking the Goddess should be on every modern pagan's reading list regardless of what gender you identify with. I really identified with what the author had to say about feminism, women who choose not to have children, and her five-fold goddess. I really hope that more pagans and feminists pick up a copy and give it a read as it is very enlightening and most definitely worth your time.
