Laying a Ghost by Jane Davitt, Alexa Snow

3.0

The two major force of this book is its setting, a remote Scottish island, and the main couple, Nick and John. I especially liked John because he was so well written, he is just a normal guy trying to cope with life and I can relate to that; it's probably why I didn't like Nick as much, I don't see myself relating to a psychic, I am what you would call a skeptic and I'm not sure I would have read this if it hadn't been a gift. I do not regret reading it and I will be reading the two others in the series too, I do hope there's gonna be a little more time passed on Nick's abilities in the other books because here it is more a developing of the relationship which was really interesting to me. The only part I disliked,
Spoilerand it is what is expected, is the reactions of the islanders when John is outed to them
