This Scot of Mine by Sophie Jordan

2.0

I usually love Sophie Jordan but I feel like she phoned it in for this book. Another review said she forgot to include the plot, and that's exactly right.

Sorry Sophie. You're an auto buy for me, but not this book.

Oh, and any 'conflict' (in quotation marks because conflict was heavily glossed over) was resolved nicely nicely without any fuss or emotional turmoil. Basically put there to increase page count and not further the plot.

Seriously, the grandmother threatens to murder Clara and her unborn child, and Hunt is like 'Oh nana don't say stuff like that.' And that's the end of it! Clara's feelings are never addressed. She was the one threatened! The whole thing never came up again.
