This book had many twists and turns and nice character developmen. It had also many sad aspects

like the mother of crookedstar who just abandoned her child because she could. Like others have said, Mapleshade seems to be everywhere, since i still have to read the thrird series, i am not entirely familiar with her but nonetheless agree on that point. Also her reasoning didn't make much sense to me, why she chose specifically Crookedstar.

The middle chapters dragged a bit but the ending was really strong

even though we knew what had to happen since crookedstar had only one daughter in the first series.
