“When you make someone fall in love with the darkest parts of you, there’s nothing you can do that will scare them away. They will be yours forever because they already love all the fucked up bits and pieces of you.”

My first ever step into the world of dark romance and it didn't disappoint. True, I was scared during the first few chapters but it slowly turned into interest and mostly curiosity - on how she will fall in love with her own stalker. Compared to the other books I've been reading, this is a handful. The book is thick and the letters are small but it didn't stop me from finishing it within a few days because I was into it.

At first, I was WTF-ing all the stalking scenes and all the scenes where you can see Addie being stupid eventhough she herself already thought it aloud how stupid she is and how she's chasing the thrill of being scared. But halfway down, when you can see Zade and his POV come to light and how he have very valid reason of the things he does, you can finally understand him. I hate how I agree with his words because my morals are also wavering as Addie's too. I fucking hate it. At the end of the book, I'm just rooting for the two of them together but fuuuuuuuuck the cliffhanger!!! I knew it was gonna happen because there was a warning of it buuuuuuuut buuuuuut I wanted more. It's a good thing I do have the second book ready to be shipped but I think I'll take a break and simmer down and go back to the normal romances. Let's see if this book somewhat changed my mind regarding dark romance.
