The Burial of the Rats by Bram Stoker

4.0

This book has pretty much everything I want to see in a short horror story. That creepy atmosphere is there (who knew Paris was so spooky?), and that slow building of suspense that is worth it in the end. This was particularly refreshing after last reading from Stoker "The Lair of the White Worm" - this book didn't have any racism, which was a relief. A quick little read that is worth your time.
