okay more like a 3.5. i read this book one time as a teen and truly remembered only the highlights but this was actually more interesting to read as an adult with a lot of information kind of coming together and clues throughout previous books making sense.
some of my favorite scenes are still emmett and bella's arm wrestle, bella unblocking her mind for the first time with edward, and when bella wants to beat jacob's dumb ass for nicknaming her daughter. (bc lbr jacob imprinting on renesmee is still the weirdest solution to a love triangle ever........... but.... go off i guess ms. meyer.........................). bella really was made to be a vampire and i would've enjoyed her more as a narrator had she been one the whole time.
and also really liked the volturi section of the book unfold considering the movie has that fake out scene (which is iconic in its own right) but made me not remember in the book version. also someone give me a spin off series of garrett and kate... what an iconic couple
anyways i enjoyed re-reading the entire series way more than i thought... also i am not gonna lie bc i absolutely WOULD read the entire series from edward's perspective since i always feel like i'm missing something when he's making faces clearly at something he heard in someone's head.
