This was such a good way to end a series. I loved seeing all the new relationships form and flourish. I loved seeing them all truly become a family. And most of all I loved seeing Ashtine and Briar's twins being born as they (and all other future kids) were what they were fighting this war for. My only compllaint is that it did feel a bit too long as some scenes felt like they were just filler.
It is bittersweet to see this series end but I can't wait to see what else Melissa K. Roerhich can do.
