Past the Rush by Britt Stark

5.0

Open up with finally getting to kiss your brothers best friend/childhood friend/crush and then you both experience something traumatic that leaves you not speaking or having contact with each other for 13 years. When you first see each other for the first time, you both are working for the same sport organization. He as the professional football player and her as part of the social media team. The past is brought to the present and there are things that need to be addressed. One thing though is those feelings you have had for each other are still there.

Leanna and Conrad were adorable. Both still dealing with a loss that had an impact on both of them. Yes, they both could of done things differently but if so, they wouldn't have been where they currently are together.

The chemistry between these two was there from the beginning. Britt did a perfect job setting up the brothers best friend, I have a crush on him when they were young. And as adults, the chemistry was still there.  The story was there, the spice was there. I enjoyed this book all around.

This was my first book by this author and her first in to the Sports Romance genre and I think she did amazingly. I cannot wait to see what else she has in store for us with this series.
