As a book I read during quarantine wanting to escape from a grim reality, it did its job. It's probably not the best written or the most original book I've ever read, but I still liked it a lot and will be reading the continuation. I liked the characters, even if they were a little bit stereotypical at times. I wasn't really surprised by the plot, but it still was interesting to read. It was a pretty enjoyable read and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to escape reality a little.
(It was really good on how it described trauma though. That was a good surprise, that part was very clever and layered.)
