The Magic of Reality: How We Know What's Really True by Richard Dawkins

4.0

An excellent introduction to the purpose and uses of science, as well as the scientific method. In each chapter, Dawkins presents an interesting question, such as "What is the sun?" He then usually runs through a few myths purporting to answer the question, and finally gets down to science's best current answer.

I got some good chuckles out of imagining "serious" Christians (the kind who say that Catholics aren't Christians) seeing their myths lumped together with all those other myths I imagine they would dismiss as plainly untrue and silly.
