It’s hard to rate this one… it’s one of the most unusual books I’ve ever read. A series of vignettes, based on a real horse trainer, Sonia’s life, takes you through a lifetime of experiences. I particularly enjoyed the relish with which the narrator described their simple daily tasks around the horses, such as cleaning and feeding them. However, it was hard to stay engaged with such an unusual topic and no real plot.
