I always love a Febos memoir. She writes with an openness and thoughtfulness that is rare. I really enjoyed how she interwove historical celibates into her tale of celibacy. I will say, I found it odd (also found it odd in "Abandon Me") that the clearly emotionally abusive relationship with the Maelstrom is never called abusive. I have a lot of thoughts on that, but will save them for another day.

I also found it interesting that a tale of the power of celibacy ends in marriage! Jane Austen would be proud....I'll be curious if the next memoir covers how she's able to keep the freedom and self-trust she built within that relationship.
